Also known as THE RMRS, we are a UK-based historical re-enactment group specialising in 1st-century CE to 2nd-century CE Roman history, both military and civilian.

 

Bringing history to life  We are history enthusiasts who love carrying out research on Roman military and civil life, and conducting practical experiments to re-create and test theories.

 

Displays  Sharing our experiences is one of our Society's founding aims so, we love to demonstrate the skills of the Roman Army and Romano-British people, including infantry, artillery, archery and everyday life, at events staged all across the UK.

 

Outreach  We also enjoy supporting educational and outreach projects, for adults and children alike, by delivering school talks, lectures, presentations, and of course our living history and military displays.
